This dataset is on species of plants that have been recorded from Ghana. The dataset was compiled based on information obtained from different sources including herbarium collection, fieldnotes and literature.

Métodos de Amostragem

This dataset was compiled based on specimen collections from major herbaria in Ghana, namely, Ghana Herbarium (GC) at the University of Ghana, Savanna Herbarium at the University for Development Studies, Herbarium at the RMSC of the Forestry Commission and Centre for Plant Medicine Research. The dataset also included data from available field notes and literature. The data were cleaned for both consistency and duplicate removed. However, nomenclature was not updated.

Descrição dos passos do método:

  1. The Brahms software was used in digitisation of herbarium records. Data were cleaned using OpenRefine and QGIS for consistency and duplicates.
